A question about sub renewal and vendor fees

I am thinking I am going to want to start a vendor thread soon. Which means adding a vendor fee. How does that work in regards to adding that fee in the middle of my sub year? My sub is up in May, so about 6 months or so from now. Would I pay half the vendor fee, then renew that with the one year renewal in May? Pay the whole thing and the vendor renewal would be then seperate from the sub renewal? Something else?

Subscriptions are now purely automatic and we do not offer half vendor fees, so you wouldn't be able to pay half the sub on a vendor license. If you want your subscriptions to end on the exact date together so that you renew them together then I have a suggestion.

I can see your board subscription ends on May 15, 2010. I would suggest that you leave your vendor fee until November 15, 2009 and buy one year, which will cover you to November 15, 2010. Then, when your subscription is due on May 15, 2010, buy 6 months subscription. Then both your subscriptions will expire on November 15, 2010 and you will be able to renew them together.

Hope that helps?

That totally helps!

One more question...can one vendor fee be used for two different things? Like, can I have two vendor threads if I pay one vendor fee?

Vendor fees are per product line. So if you have two vendor threads, one for Product X and another for Product Y, then you would need to pay two separate fees

The one fee for Product X would allow you a thread on both sides of OLU though.
